The recent Dencun has unleashed a wave of innovation within the Ethereum ecosystem, particularly enhancing Layer 2 (L2) solutions. With the introduction of EIP-4844 (Proto-Danksharding), L2s have witnessed a significant boost in efficiency and cost savings.

Prior to this upgrade, L2s faced challenges in leveraging calldata for transaction bundling, resulting in limitations and high costs. Enter "blobs" – tailor-made data containers designed to suit L2s' needs, offering a scalable and cost-effective solution. By storing bulk data off-chain and crucial elements on-chain, blobs ensure data security while reducing operational costs for L2s.
